Maybe you can do it already, I've only read about a problem with the bluetooth, but that may have already been fixed.

oh yeah will have to check that before upgrading. i rely heavily on bluetooth

Unless you really want the new features, it's probably better to stick with the LTS versions.

The LTS versions are promised to be supported with bugfixes for longer so you'll upgrade less often in future.
