In my country a lot of people wake up early to pray to the sun though I am not one of them but as far as I know they see it as a very important thing.

My great Grandmother is 103 year old, she can still walk on her own and literally it is shocking but obviously what you shared are the things she might have followed. May god bless her and keep her healthy, she has seen 5 generations and my son is blessed to have spent some time with her last year. He met her Great great Grandmother.
