Arrival of My Friend From Vacation

Thanks God for being a part of my #ofw friend life journey. Last month she decided not to come back to take care of her bed ridden sister even if it may cause shortage of her financial needs for her two children. She couldn't go while no one will take care of the sicked sister. But her sister died before her visa expiration. It was really a blessing in disguise. God is so good.

The beautiful Monday without sandstorm. I was not seeing the a Sunrise for a long time because of the sandstorm attack.

My friend Joena had a travel from Iligan to Cagayan airport Monday morning. She arrived there and have connecting from Cagayan to Manila. Manila to Jeddah then Jeddah to our workplace Jizan.

Yesterday, I called her via messenger video call and I saw them happily eating the banana and dilis salted fish. I imagine how simple life and being contented. Some people having a despedida party dancing and drinking alcohol but in her side, they were only eating banana. I was touched. Happiness was not measured by how to celebrate despedida. I felt the contentment.

I guided her travel and processing of her documents. This is the first time she had re-entry visa . It has different procedure.

Her madam gave here three red roses with notes

I cooked fried chicken with white rice and Pepsi for drink. Those are her favorite. And I let her sleep and she just woke up now. She called her boss who is the son of my boss to fetch her and go home. I hope that she will be happy starting her job until she finish her contract.
