🧵 /1 School is an interesting place. We meet different people. In campus, there is the good, the bad and ugly. Also, there is the rich, the middle class and the poor. Just like in real life, many things happen in school. Here is where we meet diverse people that will try everything possible to influence us in different ways.

🧵 /2 I always tell people that if somebody goes to a Nigerian university and resist peer negative influence, that person would never give in to being influenced negatively in the real world. In school, oppression is the order of the day. One minute you're drinking garri (cassava flakes that's considered a broke boy food) with your friend, only for you to wake up the next day to hear that your friend bought a new brand Mercedes Benz.
