Some Kids Are Ancestors

Sincerely speaking fams, children of nowadays are doing the most and some of their actions tend to give us the impression that maybe they have lived on this Earth before now, lol. I have had several encounters with very intelligent children in this generation, but the actions of two of such kids stood out, and it made me question how old they were.

The first child who showed a very high level of intelligence was a 4 year old girl called Stella who visited our neighborhood with her mother. It happened about 3 months ago when the aunty of my best friend visited our neighborhood with her cute little daughter who was barely 4 years of age.

Stella and her mother came from the village to visit us here in the city for the holidays, so at first we weren't expecting them to be outspoken and friendly because that's how we initially perceived uncivilized people. But in this case, we were shocked by their behaviors, and they even proved to us that we were really the uncivilized ones.

I took my younger sister of about 7 years old with me to visit my friend and to equally welcome their new visitors. On reaching there, we exchanged normal greetings and pleasantries, but the shock happened when the little Stella that just visited walked up to my younger sister, offered to shake her hands, and started asking her some questions.

My younger sister was far bigger and older than Stella, so we were shocked at her maturity and the confidence she showed in the presence of all of us.

"What is your name?" Stella asked my sister while stretching her hands towards her.

"My name is Promise." My sister replied almost very confused and surprised at the same time.

"Oh, that's lovely, I like your name, my name is Stella and am 4 years old".

At this point, I almost wanted to say this girl was an ancestor, but I said no, let me watch and learn how to make an introduction from this little girl first, instead of calling her names that her mother may not find funny.

Just when I was still trying to recover from the brilliance of this little girl, she added by asking my sister another question;

"Can we be friends? I believe we could learn alot from each other." My sister agreed to be her friend, and this was how they both went out to play.

You won't believe it, but that was the day I learned how to make an offer for friendship because before that time, I had many friends but I never remembered how it started with most of my friends, as I had never practiced this method of making friends. I learned something remarkable from this little girl, and that's why she was the first person that came to my mind when I saw this prompt.

The second child who has continually shown brilliance in all she does, even though she is just 3 years old is the daughter of my pastor. I so much cherish that girl and I love to play with her because she always amazes me each time we communicate.

When I was 3 years of age, I don't think at that time I was reasonable enough to even know how to talk and communicate fluently. But you won't believe that a little girl of 3 years old has started reading and calling out words like an adult.

Yeah, you read that right, she can read and pronounce some words that her mates can not even guess. When I asked her mother about the age of their daughter, they told me she was still 3 and I almost called her a lair because that girl was bigger and acted more mature than her age.

Sometimes after church services, she would come and meet me and we would communicate like adults. She makes me laugh too much because of her brilliance, innocence, and a little touch of stubbornness.

She's even a good singer because the other day during song practice, I gave her the mic and she was singing boldly, even though it was off-key, lol.

Conclusively, I would commend that we are blessed to be witnessing some of the brilliance and Intellectual capabilities of humans regardless of their age or stature. Through some of the behaviors of these little ones, I have learned not to underrate anyone, even if that person is 2 years old.
