The Toys That Can't Be Moved
Due to needed funds and space, I decided to sell some of my toys. I selected a staggering 109 in all!

However, the focus of this post is not on the ones being sold but on the "escapees." These toys that were initially considered for selling but somehow didn't make the cut: they stayed in the collection for now.
First off is Poison Ivy from DC Collectibles DC Bombshells. This figure is hard to stand due to her small feet, but what irks me about it is its costume design, which is not a favorite.
Still, she stayed because this figure is very, very rare.

Captain Marvel from Spin Master has a surprising number of joints, and if you know me, I love figures with lots of articulation. So he stayed too. Besides, he may also be a traveling partner because of his small size at 3.75 inches.

Ice and Fire, the cute tandem from the '90s Justice League! Their cute ice and fire effects made them stay. I really don’t like Ice’s face sculpt, and a new McFarlane version is on the way. But Fire would be lonely, so…

Quan Chi from Mezco's Mortal Kombat X line didn't make the 'for sale' lot because of his fine sculpt, sharp paint apps, and awesome accessories. A cool flaming red skull accessory is not seen here.

John Stewart, a non-favorite character, stayed because he is part of my favorite McFarlane Plastic Man Collect-to-Build figure wave. Objectively, the figure is well made, too.

This armored Green Lantern from DC Direct stayed because of its fine design.

Legolas stayed because, although he has been on the shortlist of figures for selling, he has a lot of accessories that can be attached to him. This is a weakness of mine when it comes to action figures --- lots of accessories, all of which the figure can carry. This Legolas has a bow, five arrows, two knives, and a sword.

The sword also played hide-and-seek with me, and when I couldn't find it, I decided to keep the figure. Found the sword after my decision! Legolas basically hid the sword so that he can prolong his place in the collection!

So now Legolas is a temporary favorite again, after years behind the other figures on the shelf.

Spawn with a custom wired cape and Deathstroke were candidates too, but their bad-a**ery made them stay.

Though I hate this Nina Williams, I decided to postpone her fate. I reaaally want her out, but there she is still.

The Drowned here is currently in limbo...

Kyle Rayner stayed because of his rarity and nice design.

Superman Blue, though I'm not really a Superman fan and collector, is really a fine figure. So for now he's still mine. He’s also part of the favorite Plastic Man wave.

Managing my collection by having to sell toys is a bittersweet affair; the funds and space needed necessitated letting them go, but I will sorely miss them all. Still, a lot of figures stayed, so I am still happy about the whole thing. Still glad to be alive!
Don't sell the Michael Bolton-- I MEAN Legolas🤣
@metapizix he said he loved me, but he lied
