Snake People!
A recent conversation about snake figures and characters compelled me to dig up all my snake people and took some pics. There may have been some characters I forgot, so I will take pics of them once I remember them.
These are Serpentor and his snake chariot, King Cobra from Marvel's Serpent Society, DC's Lord Naga, and MOTU Sorceress Teela.
Serpentor obviously leads the pack. This is so rare now and SO expensive, with three times its original price. And the original price as already quite exorbitant. Glad to have grabbed the last copy when it first came out! That was a close call. This was one of my all-time favorite figures in the 80s, and I'm glad I have this superior and updated version.
Lord Naga a.k.a. Kobra is from DC. This is from Mattel's DC Universe Classics line.
King Cobra, as previously mentioned, is from Marvel. This is a Marvel Legends figure from Hasbro.
This is Sorceress Teela in her serpent form.
The soft goods "tail" is a unique take.
And finally, McFarlane Spawn The Dark Ages Medusa! She has a pet snake not in the picture. The largest snakes in the head are bendable! As with 80s and 90s action figures, Medusa's articulation is limited. But at that time, McFarlane figures had the best articulation in the market.
Snakes being my favorite, it is very nice to have snake-themed toys. Snakes make me happy to be alive! One day I will feature the real-life snakes I've held and encountered through the years.
