Molly the Mall Cat

Yesterday, when I was at the mall administration office to get a refund for my lost and found parking card, I noticed a nice, realistic statue of a cat on the office's front desk.

I asked the very kind and nice lady at the station if it was real. Right after she said yes, it suddenly moved. An actual cute and large cat at an office table! The lady then informed me that its name was Molly, and that it was a rescue. She also told me there is a Facebook page of the mall's cats, which the mall admin also takes care of. Molly's collar has a "Rescue Cat Club Member" badge, and she (I assume it was a she) was very friendly, allowing even a stranger like me to pet her.

Unfortunately for me, I left my phone at the car at that time, so I couldn't take pictures!!! Going back to the parking lot was not an option, as my mother was already waiting for me at a nearby mall for our lunch.

The lady at the desk then demonstrated her kindness once again by offering to share her own pictures and video of Molly, with which I immediately proceeded to agree. Before her offer, I was already contemplating on buying a new cheap phone at the store beside the office, just to have pics with Molly the Cat.

So the pics and vid in this post are all from her. She did give permission to me to post them, as they were her personal collection which she hadn't shared anywhere else. (Thank you so much, Ma'm!)

During my stay and wait at the office, Molly ran, played, went up a chair, messed up the papers on the concierge desk, and did all sorts of cute stuff.

How else can we all not be happy to be alive with such endearing and adorable playfulness before us, care of our fellow creatures who share our world?
