There was a time when mentioning negative probabilities received criticism, dismissed as merely a mathematical oddity. Now, they're being used in probability Fourier distributions within QFT, with growing acceptance that treating these negative frequencies as "physically real" could be necessary. It echoes the past resistance to accepting "irrational" numbers.
