A new member of the family for a while [Eng/Esp]
Greetings friends of the community, I hope you are doing well. I want to introduce you to a new member of the family, at least for a while. A friend of mine had to leave on an unexpected trip and she had no one to leave her precious cat Kira with and I told her that I could keep her for a while until she came back without problems, which she accepted, Kira has already known me for a long time so she is used to my presence and always when I visited her she came to me to be petted.
Saludos amigos de la comunidad, espero se encuentren muy bien. Quiero presentarles a una nueva integrante de la familia, al menos por un tiempo. Una amiga tuvo que salir de viaje imprevisto y no tenía con quién dejar a su preciosa gata Kira y le comenté que yo podría tenerla por un tiempo hasta que regresara sin problemas a lo cual aceptó, Kira ya me conoce desde hace un largo tiempo por lo cual está acostumbrada a mi presencia y siempre cuando le visitaba se acercaba para que la acariciara.
I must say that at the beginning it was complicated for her to adapt to her new home and I consider that it has been for two simple reasons, the first one, it is a new place, she had never been in my house and surely it scares her to change from one place to another so suddenly, on the other hand, I think the second reason is that, I already have a cat and I understand that most of them, clearly not all, tend to be very territorial, unless they have been raised together the situation changes, but I have noticed that Mishu who has been my cat for many years, doesn't like Kira's visit very much, but she just decides to go to another place where Kira is not, I appreciate that they don't try to mug each other or anything like that, they just don't like to be in the same place, although this was at the beginning, little by little I have been noticing how they spend some time together, maybe not much, but it is a good start considering the time Kira can stay.
Debo decir que al principio le resultó complicado adaptarse a su nueva casa de hospedaje y considero que ha sido por dos simples motivos, el primero, es un lugar nuevo, nunca había estado en mi casa y seguramente le asusta el cambiar de un lugar a otro tan repentinamente, por otro lado, creo que el segundo motivo es que, yo ya tengo una gata y tengo entendido que en su mayoría, claramente no todas, suelen ser muy territoriales, a menos que se hayan criado juntos la situación cambia, pero he notado que a Mishu que es mi gata desde hace muchos años, no le agrada mucho la visita de Kira, pero sólo decide irse a otro lugar donde no esté Kira, agradezco que no intentan atracarse ni nada por el estilo, simplemente no les gusta estar en el mismo lugar, aunque esto fue al principio, poco a poco he estado notando el como pasan algo de tiempo juntas, quizás no mucho, pero es un buen comienzo teniendo en cuenta el tiempo que Kira pueda quedarse.
Since Kira doesn't like being cooped up at home very much, I usually go out with her and let her sunbathe in the street in front of my house, clearly while I'm watching her, because I don't want her to get lost, she doesn't know yet and I feel safer being on the lookout, but also letting her have her freedom.
Como a Kira no le gusta mucho estar encerrada en casa, suelo salir con ella y dejar que tome el sol en la calle frente a mi casa, claramente mientras yo la estoy viendo, porque no quiero que se pierda, todavía no conoce y me siento más seguro estando al pendiente, pero también dejando que tenga su libertad.
I took the opportunity to take these pictures, because she was really so serene and from one moment to the next she would start to stretch out, try to sleep, become attentive to any sound and she was like that on many occasions until she got bored and decided to come in again. I like to see that, although she is in a different environment, she is still as playful as she is, besides I can't get so close because then she comes in my direction and wants me to caress her or starts playing with me, but at that moment I wanted to take many pictures, you will see what I tell you right in the last picture, a moment when I approached her and she took it as an invitation to get much closer, haha.
Aproveché de hacer estas fotografías, porque realmente estaba tan serena y de un momento a otro comenzaba a estirarse, intentaba dormir, se colocaba atenta ante cualquier sonido y así estuvo en muchas ocasiones hasta que se aburrió y decidió entrar nuevamente. Me gusta ver que, aunque está en un ambiente distinto, se sigue manteniendo tan juguetona como lo es, además que no puedo acercarme tanto porque entonces viene en mi dirección y quiere que le haga caricias o empieza a jugar conmigo, pero en ese momento quería hacerle muchas fotografías, verán lo que les comento justo en la última fotografía, un momento en que me acerqué y ella lo tomó como una invitación a acercarse mucho más, jaja.
