5 minute freewrite 2973 prompt has no heart

I tried to talk to my sister this morning, but she was not hearing my words. While the weather has been bad, she took a side job painting the inside of a rental house for someone. She told me her hand hurt so bad that she sat down and cried. She has carpal tunnel, and catching pompano is aggravating it. I know she needs money, but at what cost? There are no other fish that we can catch that we will make that much money from.

I feel bad because I know what fishing has done to my body, and I do not want to do the same to hers. I will try to talk to her again about it. I think I will suggest trolling jacks, they are only worth a dollar a pound, where pompano are seven twentyfive a pound. I do not know if we will be able to catch enough to make it worthwhile, but all we can do is try. She has already told me that she hates trolling, so I know this is not going to go over well.

The jacks that are two pounds and over fight as hard as a pompano, so we will target the one pound jacks, but you never know what is going to bite. I will tell her it is that or we will not fish anymore.

My sister has the biggest heart of anyone I know or ever knew, except my mother. But there is one big difference between us, that is when it comes to animals. She is keeping her son's dog for him. She keeps him in a small pen outside because he is old and has bathroom problems. I asked her youngest granddaughter if they gave Hugo a warm blanket for the cold nights, and she said no. I told my sister she has no heart when it comes to animals. I even called her Dad!!!
