This is my post for #freewriters 2932 prompt invisible dog hosted by @mariannewest

I wonder if dogs miss you like you miss them? This is my granddaughter's dog, and she could not keep her at her house, and it would have broke her heart to take her to the pound or give her away. She asked me if I would keep her until she could get her own place. I had her for three years.

She was in no way an invisible dog, she does not lay back and wait for you to come to her. She would be jumping around you, she had this one jump that I thought was crazy for a dog. Most dogs will jump straight up, but not her. She would jump and spin herself in almost a complete circle.

My granddaughter had her back for maybe a month, and when she came home one day, the dog jumped and spun, but her tail hit a doorway and broke it. She has now had to have it removed. I miss her craziness.

The other dog that we acquired is the type to lay back and not be seen.

I peeled the foil from the bottom of the boat, it came off so easy. Some is left because I could not reach it, and there was no way I was going to climb back under the boat to peel it off. The patch looks good.

My husband fished today, so my sister came over to help do the inside. We cut the matting yesterday, one layer of roven woven, and two layers of regular matting. I mixed the resin and hardener, then realized I did not wipe the floor down with acetone, so my sister jumped in the boat and did it.

I wet the boat with resin, and my sister wet the woven on a board and handed it to me. I laid it, and we both wet it and brushed the air bubbles out. We did the same thing to each layer of matting, putting them over the woven.

I was thinking of patching a few cracks in the railing with any leftover resin, but I forgot to grind them. There was no time to grind because the resin was already setting off (hardening).

My husband said this weekend we will build a floorboard for it. That way we will not be stepping on the floor of the boat. I do not want one in my boat, because it is more weight, but I think it is necessary. I hope my husband changes his mind. I heard him tell my sister that we will want one solid piece instead of two halves. I am thinking one solid piece will be hard for me to lift if things get dropped or the drain holes clog. We will see which I get.
