Every morning, I give Rudy a slice of apple before he goes to bed for the day. He eats it, then goes into his house. This morning, I thought I would give him a strawberry instead of an apple. An hour later, he is still awake, so my husband gave him a blackberry, which he did not eat, so I decided to give him his apple slice and some little tomatoes, too. When I stuck my hand into his cage to give him the apple, he attacked me. Not to hurt me, he ran up to my hand and kicked it with his little feet. It scared me, and I jumped and yelled Rudy why did you do that, and he ran to a corner. I could tell he knew he had done something bad.

He ate his apple slice and the blackberry, and later, I noticed when he went to bed, he turned his little house so the door faced the wall.

He also plugged his window with his bedding.

My oldest daughter came by to borrow a chainsaw because the Floss Silk tree I had planted for her 10 years ago fell, this is the third time it has fallen. I think the tree has grown so big and her soil is too loose to hold it up, so I told her to take it out, and I will give her a different tree to plant in its place. I gave her a Starburst Clairadendrum.

While they were here, I was telling my 33 year old grandson about how Rudy acted this morning and how he turned his house so the door faced the wall, and he plugged the window hole. His comment was something only a guy would make. He said, "maybe he is going through puberty and does not want to be seen". In other words, Rudy does not want to be exposed!. Naughty rabbit.

After collecting his food from the yard I came inside and seen his house was turned back to its right position and thought he did it, but it was my husband. When Rudy hears me putting his food in the cage he uncovers his window and wants a carrot, if I am not fast enough with the carrot, he will make his house hop up and down. I hold the carrot up to the window and he grabs it and takes it inside to eat. I lifted his house so I could take pictures of him. He seems to know not to be mean to me and just sat there looking at me like he was saying he is sorry and please put my house back. I love him so much.
