I was ordering something from a company and stopped ordering months ago. So when I received an e-mail saying my money could have been sent to a fake company, I did not think it concerned me. They said they had a problem and money was being diverted from their account to a made up account.

I sent an e-mail back saying I had not ordered in a long time and they sent one back saying this happened last December. I went back to our bank records and found where the money I sent went to the company's phony name they told me about.

I sent them another e-mail saying where I found the money taken out back in early January, but I received the product. They explained to me, it was an inside job. Someone they hired had made a company name similar to their company name and was diverting their money to his made up account. I was not losing my money, this small company was losing theirs.

They asked if I would go to my bank and dispute the charges. I was at the bank for quite a while trying to explain that I did not lose any money, this company lost the money and asked me to file a dispute. I showed them the e-mail but of course her boss was out to lunch. I waited until she returned and they had me send a copy of the e-mail to them but still did not understand the dispute since it was not my money that was taken. They called the company that the good company uses to handle their money and finally agreed to file the dispute.

You think you can trust your employees, but as the saying goes, if you give him an inch he will take a mile. I guess where money is concerned, it is best to trust no one....

Today has been another bad day. I have noticed that since I have been weaning myself from the pain patch, on the second day of wearing it, I feel bad most of the day. Not real bad pain, it is just enough where I do not want to do anything, and feel uncomfortable. The pain meds I have been on for the last 30 years do not work like they used to, and now I am putting a bandaid on, then putting the pain patch over the bandaid, it covers almost half of the patch. By doing this, the full amount of medicine is not being absorbed, so I am having something that was not working like it should, and now not getting the dosage I was getting. I hope this will pass, I am trying my best to do this.
