This morning, after my coffee, I wanted to get the arecas weeded and weed eat around them before it got too hot outside. As I was doing this, my sister showed up to take me to Vero Beach. She took the weed eater from me and tried to finish them but the last good battery went dead before she could. I had gone through 3 batteries before she got here. I will finish them tomorrow morning. I am worried that if I go off the pain meds, will I still be able to do things like this, because even with taking them, I am in pain doing it.

The reason my sister came by was that yesterday, my husband found this swimming pool on Facebook Marketplace, and I had my daughter, who lives in Vero, pick it up for me, and my sister said she would take me down there to get it. It was a very good deal at 200 dollars, the box has never been opened. It is 15 feet wide and 48 inches deep. The pool I have been using for the last two years was 10 feet wide and 3 feet deep, so I am giving it to my sister for her grandkids.

On our way to Vero I asked my sister if she wanted to stop at the cheap store, which she did. Even though the way fishing has been and I have no incentive to go, I could not pass up a deal like this one. They had 50 pound boxes of squid for 99 cents a box, I bought 3 boxes. We buy squid to bait our pigfish traps from a bait and tackle store. My husband figured up the cost of 150 pounds of it if we had to buy it from them, it would cost us 750 dollars.

I had called my husband before buying it, and he was concerned with us getting it home before it thawed because we still had to pick up the pool from my daughter, and then my sister needed to get gas. The squid was frozen, and we had a big cooler in the truck, but only one box would fit in it. After putting it in the cooler, we took the empty box and wrapped it around the other two boxes and slid them against the cab of the truck to keep the wind off of them.

After getting the pool and gas, we were halfway home when my phone rang, it was my husband wanting to know where we were and making sure the squid had not thawed. I had no clue as to how it was doing in the back of the truck, but I told him it was ok and not to worry. It was still frozen when we got home. He cleaned our bait freezer out so the squid would fit, and he threw away all of our crab trap bait and some of the crabs and clams to make room for them.

At the cheap store, I also bought two bags of potatoes, one red and one white, for 26 cents, and they had red carrots, but someone took the carrots and left the tops. I got them for free for Rudy. They had a sign get 10 loaves of bread for free. I bought a few other things like yogurt, cheese singles, 2 dozen eggs, and cream cheese. I got enough to give my daughter some. I spent 19.01
