Hello #NeedleworkMonday. Today I’m excited to share a cute macramé project with you—a bracelet made of little flowers. Here are the details on how to make it.
ESPAÑOLHola #Needleworkmonday. Hoy tengo el gusto de estar compartiendo este lunes un lindo proyecto macramé, una pulsera de florecitas. Paso a dar detalles de su elaboración.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Green and yellow nylon thread
- Chalk bag
- Clipboard
- Hilo de nailon verde, amarillo
- Yesquero.
- Tabla clip.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
- Cut 4 pieces of yellow thread, each 1.50 cm long.
- Cut 4 pieces of green thread, each 100 cm long.
- Insert the green thread 10 cm into the clipboard.
- Overlap the two green threads and tie a lark’s head knot with the yellow thread.
- Start by taking the green thread and tie 2 flat knots with the right yellow thread, and 2 flat knots with the left yellow thread.
- Overlap the green threads and pass the yellow thread through them as shown in the diagram.
- Repeat the above steps until you reach the desired length.
- Join the ends with a Franciscan knot.
- Secure the knots with a thread sealer.
- Cortar 04 hilos de 1,50 cm amarillo.
- Cortar 04 hilos de 100 cm verde,
- Insertar e hilo verde a 10 cm en la tabla clip.
- Los dos verde lo sobreponemos y hacemos un nudo alondra con el amarillo.
- Comenzar tomando el hilo verde y sobre el hacemos 02 nudos planos con el amarillo derecho, y dos nudos planos con los izquierdos.
- Sobreponemos los hilos verdes y con el amarillo lo hacemos pasar segun la figura.
- Repetir todo lo anterior hasta tener la medida deseada.
- Unir los extremos con nudo franciscano.
- Sellar los nudos con el yesquero.

I’d been planning to make this bracelet for a while, but it wasn’t until today that I really took a close look at a #short video until I figured out the method.
I’m glad I overcame this challenge, because you have to figure out the length of each strand and be patient until you get the stitch right. The macramé technique is fabulous because you can make countless designs. This bracelet is perfect for girls and teens.

Esta pulsera la tenia pensado hacer desde hace tiempo, pero fue hoy que me puse a observar un #short detenidamente hasta que aprendi el método.
Estoy contenta de haber superado este reto, porque hay que adivinar los centimetros de cada hilo y tener paciencia hasta conseguir el punto. La técnica macrmé es fabulosa porque se hace un sin número de diseños. Esta pulsera es ideal para niñas y adolescentes.

Beautiful work! I really like how they look like a continuous pattern; the way you’ve arranged each flower—that string of little flowers—looks so pretty. I’d love to learn how to crochet; I need some tools and yarn to get started, hehehe
