Hi #Needleworkmonday. I had some free time today, so after finishing my daily chores, I made a cute bracelet using the macramé technique. I’d been meaning to do this project for several weeks—I’d bought some happy-face beads 🙂—until today, when I finally decided to make it. Here’s a step-by-step guide.

Tenia pendiente desde hace varias semanas este proyecto ya que habia comprado unas cuentas de caritas felices 🙂, hasta que hoy decidí realizarla. Les comparto el paso a paso.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Red and white nylon thread.
- Clip board.
- 06 medium-sized pearls.
- 01 smiley face bead.
- Tissue box.
- Hilos nailón rojo y blanco.
- Tabla clip.
- 06 perlas medianas.
- 01 cuenta carita feliz.
- Yesquero.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
- 2 white strings, 70 cm each.
- 2 red base strings, 50 cm each.
- 2 red strings, 70 cm each.
- 10 cm from the ends, insert the strings into the clipboard as follows:
- 2 red base strings.
- 2 white strings on the left, 2 red strings on the right.
_ Take the right red string and tie a flat knot in the shape of a P, - Then, using the white string, tie a left flat knot forming a 4.
- Make 11 complete flat knots. (06 cm)
- Thread two beads onto each string: one bead in the center, the smiley face, and another bead; on the white string, thread 02 beads.
- Adjust the beads and proceed to make the 11 flat knots on the other end.
- Use the sealing tool to seal the threads, leaving only 2 at each end.
- Use a Franciscan knot to join the ends of the bracelet.
- 02 hilos blancos de 70 cm.
- 02 hilos rojos 50 cm Base.
- 02 hilos rojos 70 cm.
- A 10 cm de los hilos se insertan en la tabla clip de la siguiente manera:
- 02 hilos rojos de base.
- 02 blancos en la izquierda, 02 rojos en la derecha.
_ Tomar el hilo rojo derecho haciendo un nudo plano en forma de P, - Luego con el hilo blanco un nudo plano izquierdo formando un 4.
- Se realizan 11 nudos planos completos. (06 cm)
- Se insertan en cada hilos dos perlas, en el centro una perla, la carita feliz y otra perla, en el hilo blanco 02 perlas.
- Se ajustan las cuentas y se procede hacer los 11 nudos planos del otro extremo.
- Con el yesquero sellamos los hilos, quedando solo 02 en cada extremos.
- Con nudo franciscano unimos los extremos de la pulsera.

Esta pulsera es muy sencilla de realizar, dirigida a principiante que desee vender, se usa poco material, rápida de hacer y muy de moda. Como tiene color rojo puede ser un amuleto de protección.
Me alegra haber realizado esta linda pulsera, sirve para obsequio de cumpleaños, de niñas y adolescentes. En este caso será para mi hija, la carita feliz es su favorita.
La tecnica macramé es muy util en este tipo de diseño, usando solo el nudo plano. Las perlas le da un toque elegante y mucha brillantez.
