Introduction

Greetings! I have been searching on YouTube for a platform where I can write some blogs. In the video, the person was talking about two platforms, and he mentioned Hive. I got interested even though it’s an old video, I found it useful and did further research about Hive, and here I am with you guys. This is the video link; you can check it out. Later, I found the steps to create an account, and it was very complicated because I have never been on a platform like this. I also discovered it’s a decentralized platform, so I am very excited to explore it.

Personal Background & Family

My name is Muktakin Ahmed. You may call me Muktakin. I am from Bangladesh, and I live in Mirpur, Dhaka. It’s a crowded area. I was born here and have been living here with my grandfather, my older brother, and his wife, who recently got married. We are a joint family, and the house where I live is owned by my father and his siblings. So, we all stay together in the same apartment but on different floors. We stay on the lower floors and rent out the upper floors.

Forgot to mention I have a pet cat and I am an animal lover!

Parents & Personal Appearance

My parents are not in Bangladesh they are in Dubai. They sometimes visit me or take me with them, but I mostly stay in Bangladesh. I am 24 years old, and I might look older than my age, but trust me, it's all because of the beard. As a Muslim I want to keep long beards. Also, I’ve been very healthy since childhood, and I get that a lot that I look older than I actually am. But it’s something I cannot control. I’ve dealt with bullying because of my weight and changed schools multiple times because of this. Currently, I’m not in contact with those people, so I’m doing better than before. Recently, I joined a gym, and I’m trying to get in good shape hopefully, I can maintain it.

Education Journey

I have a 2–3 year gap in my studies, so I’m still taking my final year college board exams, which are known as HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate). I study at Pallabi Government College, which is under BOU (Bangladesh Open University). I’m taking board exams and feeling nervous because I didn’t get the opportunity to study much. The result will be out in the last week of August. If I fail, my parents are going to be really mad, so I’m quite anxious about it. I have an exam every Friday, and I’m trying my best let’s see what happens. I can speak 3 languages which is Bengali, Hindi and Urdu and I can read and write in 2 languages which is Bengali and English but I can't read Urdu and Hindi. Also, you will see my writing in English is good but my pronunciation is really bad in English I lack confidence and get nervous all of the time, so I do not prefer to speak in English.

Gaming & Entertainment

Actually, I love to play video games. It’s the best thing to do in my leisure time. Besides studying, I need entertainment, so I play games such as PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile. These are mobile games. I have the desire to play PC games, but I can’t spend that much just to buy a PC. I have an old laptop that takes forever to start. So, I enjoy exploring new games on mobile instead.

Movies, Anime & Culture

Anyway, I also love to watch movies, I'm a big fan! Horror movies are my favorite on Fridays, also mc and marvel are my favourite. I have many interests. I’m also a big fan of Japanese culture. I love watching anime, and I can’t explain how badly I want to visit Japan and try their food. I watch K-dramas too, but if you ask me to choose one, I’ll prioritize anime because their animation is insane, and the stories are unbeatable. I love reading manga, manhwa, and manhua. I have a long list of things to do in my leisure time. I can never say I’m bored because I always have something to keep me busy.

Friends Like Family

Also, I have a few friends I hang out with in my free time. They are just like my family, my homies. Even though we’re not blood-related, I love them very much, like my own brothers. I would do anything for them, and the same goes for them. Whenever I was going through tough times, they were the ones who always stood by my side. We always hang out together and treat each other. I have more memories with my friends than with my family because I have specific time for them, and since we all live in the same area in Mirpur, it’s easier to meet up. I like spending time outside whenever I’m free. I am an extrovert and have gone to many trips with my friends and it was the best decision.

Final Words

The guy you’re seeing in the picture is my best friend Fardin. We’ve been friends since I was 7 years old. Our friendship is long-lasting, and I’m willing to share my personal journey with you all on a platform like Hive. I hope everyone will be interested in reading about my culture and personal life. I wish to make new friends here and hoping everything will be positive.
