A review for some of the valid entries for the holozing community contest

This content features excellent entries made my some users for the holozing community contest, I picked at about nineteen entries and I mentioned the author's. The author's did a very nice job in creating a perfect background for the creatures and we all in the holozing community deeply appreciate their efforts.

My Holozing Creature Background Contest!

Next, I drew some coral formations in the background. I used different shades of dark green to make dimensions. I clipped another layer on top to brush it with the color yellow. For the moss, I used a downloaded brush called oil brush to create the texture. I manually drew the school of fish and used the liquify tool to shape them. The bubbles are created using a downloaded brush from the CSP asset store. I just used a soft brush to create the white foams on the blue background.

Holozing creature Background contest! | Fire Wolf

place the creature at the middle bottom part of the canvass. The background is still transparent for now and look how cute that fire wolf creature is ..... getting ready for it's background design XD.

Water and land background design | Zentangle Technique [Eng- Esp]

I started by making a sort of gem of color of the earth element which is green. I took the leaf that has the character on the forehead, the beautiful grass raccoon, and I put it several times all over the cardboard.

I fill it with a green color, then I use many circles to give this touch, then I put it in portrait mode, cutting out the circle to a certain point, finally I add a texture.

I decided to use this background because the rabbit has electric power and that is why I wanted to imagine that he comes out of the clouds and lightning bolts come out all around him while he is appearing.
The fire wolf is my favorite and I wanted to do something about him, his fire power makes him quite eye-catching and here I leave you with this background.

New contest : Designing a seabed for | Nuevo concurso : Disenando in Fondo Marino para Water Whaler

We will start by taking a rough object and mark a circle, for this I used a round lid, I started by dividing the circle, then continue drawing inside it some small fish swimming around, some seaweed, a small flower and a snail walking around. Then continue adding paint very carefully, I started adding a color similar to the skin color to symbolize the land of the bottom of the sea where our character will be located.

Holozing Background/Image Starter Contest: My Entry

This image played in my head until I was able to draw it out from canva.com. I used this as my background image so that I could continue to add other paraphernalia to make it complete sense. I hope this makes up for a sea background.

Holozing poster Designing Contest: Fire Wolf

Today I want to share with you my first participation in the holozing backgrounds contest organized by @holozing. in my first contest I choose to show participate with fire wolf. I made the background with Autodesk sketchbook. painting sequence below.

Grass Raccoon background design

The first thing I did was to look for the vertical form and from there begin to design, so I already had in mind a little what I wanted to design, also I could not overload the and to place the creature Grass Raccoon, where continuing with the theme of green and what better way to use a forest, forest that has a lot of reflections of sunlight and that I liked, as it could highlight the creature, so I place it, where little by little it was talking shape, also design that forest cost me, since I had to edit it.

As reading in the guidelines/rules, I pick Grass Raccoon character. I tried to illustrate green ground with some grass on it, tree without leaves, Rock and river behind it. And I put Sun to it (at the end)

Holozing creature Background contest - Water Whale in Deep Sea

initially, I wanted to design the background of the creature water whales with a 3D concept, but the process would take a long time, and I was afraid it would be late, so I designed it in 2D using Adobe illustrator with a background theme in the sea. Below are some screenshots of my process of designing the background for the water whale creature that you can check out and maybe follow along if you want to do the same.

Background for the grass Raccoon | My Entry for the contest

The first thing I did was to create the hill where the raccoon was going to pose, for that I used the pen tool and formed it by joining some strokes, after that I joined them to have the closed form and to be able to paint it, I chose the dark green color taking into account one of the shades of our friend, and in that way to create the contrast. Once done, the next step was to fill in the environment, I used some wet brushes to create the grass around it and then I made the tree behind it.

Grass Raccoon | Holozing creature background art contest!

I painted two trees in the background with dark green color and shaded them with airbrush. I painted them in a way that the light source is in sync with the creatures default light source. I painted rest of the background in accordance to that.

Electric Rabbit: My Entry to Background Holozing contest. An environment inspired by isolation and adaptation

I really liked the overlay effect because it gives that neutrality of colors that follow the main character. I'm actually very happy with the background image I created. The creative process was long, but wonderful.
