How Premium Subscriptions Shape InLeo’s Future

(Edited)

InLeo Premium subscription went live exactly a month ago for a $10 fee. Being a Premium subscriber on InLeo will earn you more rewards for your average posts, that’s what many people want to hear but that’s not what I’m writing to tell you, while increased post rewards may be one of the perks of being a premium subscriber, I can tell you for sure that it’s the least interesting perk on the table. Let me tell you why.

Tokenomics and Community Impact

Think of it from the perspective of what your subscription is doing, for the love of transparency, your $10 is split in two.

Half is used to buy Leo, the other half used to buy hive and both are locked in a permanent pool every month.

At 100 subscribers, it means $500 will be used to buy Leo every month, which means that in 6 months, close to 100k Leo tokens would have been removed permanently out of circulation if the price of Leo remain at its current level, it even gets better if the price of Leo goes cheaper, it only means more tokens would be removed from circulation.

Now when it comes to curation, stake based curation is another important factor at play, there are levels of curation based on the amount of Leo stakes one is holding,

to attain more levels of curation, you must grow your stake by either accumulating slowly or buying from the market, these immensely contribute to removing even more tokens from circulation/market.

Then there is AD revenue. The LeoAds smart contract earns revenue each week from ad partners. That ad revenue buys #HIVE on Mexc and then sends that HIVE to the @leoads on-chain wallet

Then LeoAds wraps it to swap.hive and buys $LEO. Funds are regularly accumulating HIVE, bringing it on-chain and then buying LEO. Bringing value into the blockchain ecosystem through both HIVE & LEO.

The Power of Collective Contribution

The bigger the community gets the more revenue it generates for itself. This revenue is directly and indirectly distributed to users and stakeholders allowing every member to grow both their stake and the value of it.

So let’s do some modest hypothetical calculations. If there are 500 Leo premium subscribers, it means there will be 5000 hbd generated every month with 2500hbd buy power for Leo and 2500hbd for Hive, this means over 6 months, over 1million Leo tokens would be taken out of circulation, depending on the price of each Leo token.

This systematic removal of LEO tokens from circulation doesn't just have immediate effects; it has the potential to significantly impact the token's value over time.

By reducing the supply, the intrinsic value of each remaining LEO token could increase, assuming the demand remains constant or grows. This is a fundamental economic principle: as supply diminishes and demand stays steady or increases, value tends to rise.

Beyond Token Value

But the impact isn't just on token value; it's also about community empowerment. Every Premium subscription contributes to a robust, self-sustaining ecosystem.

This isn't just a benefit for token holders, but for content creators, curators, and the entire InLeo community. As the platform grows, its ability to attract quality content and engage users increases, creating a virtuous cycle of growth and reward.

What's truly remarkable is the power of collective contribution. While a single $10 subscription may seem insignificant, the aggregated effect of hundreds of subscriptions is monumental.

The Virtuous Cycle of Growth and Reward

It's a testament to how community-driven initiatives can create substantial market movements. By participating, each member isn't just supporting themselves; they're contributing to a collective force that drives the entire platform forward.

However, focusing solely on the tokenomics oversimplifies the true value of being a part of InLeo. The platform is more than just a place to earn and grow stakes; it's a community where ideas, creativity, and information exchange flourish.

The real reward lies in being part of a dynamic and evolving ecosystem, where each member's contribution, be it content creation, curation, or simply engagement, enriches the collective experience.

Why Renewing Matters

In conclusion, the reasons for renewing my InLeo Premium subscription go far beyond personal gains. It's about being an integral part of a thriving ecosystem where every member's contribution fosters collective growth and success. By renewing, I'm not just investing in a token; I'm investing in a community-driven initiative that enhances the platform's value, encourages quality content, and strengthens a network of like-minded individuals.

This renewal represents my belief in InLeo's vision, where each of us plays a crucial role in shaping a sustainable and dynamic future. It's a commitment to being part of something larger than myself, a powerful collective force driving forward the world of decentralized finance and content creation.

Thanks for reading and cheers to a bright future.

Such a deep though for the wonderful community. It does make sense to contribute for the community.

I think that's a great way to look at it, as it is better and more beneficial for the community at large when seen from that viewpoint. I also think over time, it could be a sustainable growth path in bringing in revenue for the platform.

yes, this is it…sustainable growth path, big numbers of people are welcome but lack of them won’t be detrimental to the platform unlike others
