Analysis of the Bitcoin Whale's Big Sell-Off and Current Pressure on the Market
How are you all? I hope you are all doing well. Today I am going to share some good information about Bitcoin with you again, which I have definitely found out by analysing various news and market reports from various media outlets.

Recently, an important on-chain movement has been observed in the Bitcoin market, about which I am sharing some observations. According to the data, a whale wallet has finally sold 800 BTC that it had been holding for about seven months. The total value of this sale is about $50.24 million.
What attracts the most attention is the result of this trade. It is known that this position has incurred a real loss of about $35.3 million. That is, the position had to be closed at a significant loss due to the decrease in the price of the Bitcoins at which they were purchased in the market. It is estimated that the average entry price was about $106,866 per BTC.
According to my observations, this is not an isolated incident. In the current market situation, a kind of pressure is being observed among large holders. Since the beginning of 2026, on-chain data shows that many whale and shark investors have been gradually reducing their positions, and in some cases, even exiting the market at a loss.
Another important point is that according to various reports, large wallets holding 100 to 10,000 BTC are realising significant losses every day. At the same time, it is also mentioned that about 70,000 BTC have been sold on the market in the past month, which can naturally create selling pressure in the market in the short term.

However, the whole picture is not one-sided. At the same time, institutional participation has not completely stopped. In particular, there is a regular inflow into the spot Bitcoin ETF, which indicates that a part of the large investors still have confidence in the market in the long term.
Overall, I do not see this recent 800 BTC sale as just an isolated trade, but rather as a reflection of the larger sentiment of the current crypto market and the behaviour of large investors.
