How lovely that you rediscovered that diary to read back on this you were thankful for. I'm often too lazy to write things down, but this is a good reason to make that effort.

Hello, @minismallholding don't be lazy, that's how I was.
When I started my son and my husband saw me writing every morning and they only saw each other's faces. I would just tell them: you can do it too.
It's great when we get the hang of writing acknowledgements.
Now, I don't keep a notebook, I have a bowl on the kitchen counter where I write and deposit them.
