To find the units digit of (124^{372} + 124^{373}), note that the units digit of 124 is 4, so we compute the units digits of powers of 4 and add them.

The units digits of powers of 4 cycle every 2:

  • (4^1 = 4) (units 4)
  • (4^2 = 16) (units 6)
  • (4^3 = 64) (units 4)
  • (4^4 = 256) (units 6)
    And so on.

For even exponents (like 372), units digit is 6.
For odd exponents (like 373), units digit is 4.

So, units digit of (124^{372}) is 6.
Units digit of (124^{373}) is 4.
Sum: (6 + 4 = 10) (units digit 0).
