Reflecting On My Experience As an Entrepreneur.

To be an entrepreneur starts with a lot of Focus and sacrifice. An Entrepreneur is a person who take risks to start and develop a business. Entrepreneurship is Simply the act of being an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship can also be seen as an act in which an individual takes risks to develop and run a business enterprise.

Growing up in an average home, I tried different skills and worked to earn money. My experience as an entrepreneur in a competitive economy and market systems drives me to carry out new and creative ideas to shape and mold my skills to my targetted Goals. It is true when people say owning a business is not easy work, that it comes with a lot of stress and determination but I will say it is still the best an individual can ever have for himself, to develop his/her personal growth and be valuable to the society and economy. This is one risk we must take in life. I don't believe in working for other people or working for another person but I believe in owning a personal business even though it has a high risk and chances in the markets.

My first entrepreneurship Business ever was selling shoes online, I tried to meet the target but I was not experienced and I had a small network of people that were ready to buy the shoes from me. It took me time to realize entrepreneurship has its strategic ideas and rules, but I was very consistent in uploading online, I guess I did not have the right audience to view my post then. I was only 16 years old then, and all I wanted to do was help my parents to help relieve their financial burden.

Currently I sell Pets, laptops and enagage in some IT jobs. This has been my finance outside Hive, although to some people this jobs might be a petty jobs, but because I have researched my environment and seen our lack and demands made me venture into this business and it has been a massive growth for me.

Reasons why Entrepreneurship is important;

• Creation of Job Opportunities; Being an entrepreneur makes the job search market less available. Entrepreneurship gives an individual an opportunity to own a business of his own or contribute to an enterprise's development. This aspect helps to contribute to economic development by creating more job opportunities for people to earn from and build a career inside.

• Growth of the Economy; Entrepreneurship stimulates new opportunities for both job searchers and for government purposes. The more entrepreneurship businesses are made the more the government earns tax revenues from this business which can also contribute to the growth and development of the Economy. Entrepreneurship contributes to the progress of the society and economy with several innovative ideas to give possible solutions and make work easier to do.

• Creativity and innovation; Entrepreneurship gives an individual the opportunity to be innovative with his/her thoughts on various areas and opportunities to develop the skills, task, or reach a goal targetted. Entrepreneurs think creatively and try out new ideas on how to improve themselves and their businesses.

• Personal Growth; This is one of the Major aspects of the importance of entrepreneurship. It gives an individual the opportunity to create a career, or skill Path and develop in it. It also gives the individual a higher standard and level in the economy, since he/she is adding value to the economy.

Tips on How to Become an Entrepreneur;

To be an entrepreneur does not mean starting up any business anyhow without thorough sight and research of the market or societal Demand. Based on my experience and reflection there are some tips on how to become an entrepreneur which I will be listing below;

• Creating of a Business Plan; An individual must first set out his/her plan on the business he/she wants to start. Outlining of the goals and strategies to use in achieving the goals. The person must work in calculation to his/her financial budget and capacity.

• Research on Customer Demand; This is one major vital domain to start entrepreneurs. The customers are the major target, so we must research what are the demands of the customers in that society or economy.

• Build Relationship with Customers; This is another vital importance, building a valid relationship with customers is very important, and this can help to the improvement of sales.

• Skills; Being an entrepreneur does not necessarily mean the person must possess a skill but the person must possess soft skills. This Soft skill can be valuable to the person in communicating with the customers or Interacting with the society. These soft skills make the person outstanding. Not all entrepreneurs require a skill but they all require soft skills. An individual must learn to possess soft skills.

• Secure Funding and Work According to Budget; Working according to budget is very important, this can help manage finance wisely and keep track of cash flow. Securing funding for business entrepreneurs is vital there are options like Loans, crowdfunding, and investors

• Focus on Scalability; Develop several domains, actions, and processes that can be useful and help develop the business alongside personal growth.
