My financial independence story - Crypto adventures at the end of the year - 2025 - Week 52 (Saturday Savers edition)

End of the year, as this is the last post for now, for 2025. How did my plan went? Let's see and compare with the first week of 2025.

The plans. I managed to divide into 4 sections, Plan A related to Hive and Leo, where the main focus will be. Then, Plan B, different key numbers for tokens that either drip or pay, mostly Hive, but a few others too, if they have a good APR, it is all but finished. Plan C, mostly related to some layer 2 Hive tokens, that I use for curations or gaming, as well as all Splinterlands-related stuff, card upgrades and active land, SPS and SPT. And the last one, Plan D, cryptocurrencies I would like to have outside Hive, containing a little retirement nest, with stablecoins, shares, cash and some other crypto, aiming for 2 different staking wallets, 2 share accounts and cash. I use 2 account for both shares and staking just in case of bankruptcy, to not lose 100% of the funds. So, let's start with the numbers:

Plan A: went quite well, as I got 35K Hive accumulated in 2025, while I have also reached 100K Leo (sold most of it at its high to get more Hive and pay for Hivefest for me and my wife).

• Hive - From 107.205 to 142.978/200.000 (10-step program - 143.641 at the step 9/10) Quite close to the insane deadline, I checked how much I can get and I wrote a x10 times bigger number.

Achieved:

• LEO - I reached 100.000/100.000 LEO staked. I also sold some LEO for a good profit, and I got Hive back to the staked stash.
• Participate in HiveFest. Ticket fees for two. 3393 Hive. Finally got them. Kuala Lumpur was a BLAST!

Plan B: completely fulfilled. Crazy market, with most of my bets being affected by the market events and losing value, yet, all of them are somehow rewarding Hive and HBD, so, as long as they pay something, I keep them. Other than that, DUO and LU are still bringing in too some rewards.

Plan C: Splinterlands gave mixed results, and while I managed to max most of the reward cards from the previous set, and fully stake 8 more lands, I still have another 15 to make full, and not enough summoners to play decently. I did focus on Foundation getting all but one card up to max level. Conclave still has a lot of summoners and cards in need to upgrade, to be competitive enough. It is too expensive and there is not enough profit to justify further investments. I may start to get value out of the account into Hive Power for 2026 with a minimum of investment, with maybe only the lands to upgrade for now.

• Rebellion - all Common and Rare summoners max level 1/10
• Conclave - Have one level 1 card of each kind, will be the start (the Legendary cards level 1 left)
• Conclave reward cards - Common max level 0/10

Achieved:

Conclave Reward cards - all max level except legendary Riftwatchers - all cards, except some Legendaries, are max level. Land - I want to get at least 11 Lands fully operational with 5 staked max-level cards, probably Rare, until the end of 2025. Zing/Hive pool 1% done Conclave - Have one level 1 card of each kind will be the start - All Common level 2 Done, All Rare level 1 Done, All Epic level 1 Done.

Plan D: On the liquidity I actually lost 5%, as it was 42% in January 2025, a bad move here, could have been 100% if I was not so eager to sell. Well, no more dwelling into the past, we build it from here. The others increased over the year.

• Stablecoin liquidity 37.00 % decreased 5%
• Share account no.1 22.34 % increased 5%
• Share account no.2 29.04 % increased 14%
• Cash liquidity saved 95.00 % almost did it, I was close enough.
• Emergency fund wallet - 1.96% this is a new one that I plan to build in the next 6 years.
