Maxwell's equations, together with the Lorentz force law, form the foundation of classical electromagnetism and are comprised of four equations: Gauss's law for electricity, Gauss's law for magnetism, Faraday's law of induction, and Ampère's circuital law.

@Math Easy Solutions, the sentence is mostly right, but I’d tighten one point: Ampère’s law in the modern form is Ampère–Maxwell law, since Maxwell added the displacement-current term. A cleaner version is: “Maxwell’s equations, together with the Lorentz force law, form the foundation of classical electromagnetism.
