My 2023 Goals - Four Months To Go

I always find writing this kind of posts more exciting as it is about reminding myself of how far I've come and how much more I need to go further. Setting goals and sticking to it wasn't my thing until I joined Hive and I am loving the significant changes I've been experiencing thanks to this encounter.

Last year, on the last day of the month of December, I made a post about what I plan to achieve this year... My 2023 Hive Goals and today, HL topic has made me go back to check my goals.

Surprisingly, I've achieved even more than I had set for the year.

I won't go in much detail regarding every single goal I had set for the year, you can read it up in the post I shared. But I'd love to share a few details on the ones I'm most surprised and grateful about at the same time. I had one goal to achieve offline and the rest was online here on Hive.

• Become A Dolphin

I started this year with 2900 HP, I was so surprised when I saw the difference today lol. It's amazing how the little I've been claiming as rewards turned out this big today in my wallet. From 2900 HP to 6800 HP is a huge progress as I had only planned to get up to 6000 HP before 2023 ends.

There's still four months left and I have set a new goal to achieve, which is getting it up to 8000 HP. I didn't want to put too much pressure on myself so the goal seem very achievable. No different plans on how to achieve this aside what I've been doing before now and that is being consistent with my engagement on the blockchain.

• Get a Pc

I had it planned that I needed to buy a Pc to ease my Hive journey, I was able to achieve it about three months ago. It is one of the goals I achieved that I've been so grateful for as this has improved a lot of things about my Hive journey even though I'm still trying to get the hang of the whole thing.

I got a HP pc of good quality at an affordable amount which I had been saving until I found the one to buy. It's left for me to be fast with it when I type and also explore other things to do on my Pc so my mobile phone can rest more hehe. This is a life changing achieved goal for me.

• Invest in second layer tokens

I won't say much here but I did achieve way more than I had planned especially with the fact that I've been buying even more other tokens aside the ones I had planned for. My HBD savings didn't change much and I recently got a good plan on how to go about all of them, a goal to grow the numbers even higher before the year ends.

• Get the Daily, Monthly & Yearly Hivebuzz badges

This particular goal haven't been easy as I do experience writer's block sometimes and then, there are times where I risked posting close to deadlines in getting the badge. Missing a day will take the yearly badge away so I have been consistently posting since 2023 begun.

I still got four months to go in achieving the yearly badge and more daily & monthly badges. I believe it won't be as hard as it was for me when the year started till now. I just have to find better ways to create quality content or make videos, which ever way works to get the badge. I also plan to get more power up badges as I've been doing. It's all part of the plan for the rest of the year.

• Get a ring light for my Vlogging journey

Another recent goal of mine is to get a ring light for my content creation. I've got a lot more things to share on Hive but I realize I need a ring light for them to turn out good enough. Four months is too long to achieve this one as I plan to start using it before next year.

Conclusion
These are my plan for the rest of the year and I hope I achieve them and also share them here with you all. See how far we've come once again, it was a good enough year until now. Hopefully, the year will end in good notes.
