Salads are part of our daily diet. Some people like them, others don't, depending on the ingredients used. Sometimes we come across different combinations that are pleasing to the palate. Sometimes we follow recipes, other times our creativity leads us to invent, as we say, to find a solution and see how they turn out.
Cabbage is widely used and has many ways of being prepared. It's highly recommended because it contains many nutrients that strengthen our bodies. It comes in white and purple varieties. In this recipe, white cabbage was used.
Another ingredient is carrot, also highly recommended for its vitamin content, which is ideal for eye health. It's grated but not cooked.
Mango is a fruit, and this ingredient is also among the foods rich in nutrients for our bodies. It's also used in various sweet recipes, and this time it's an ingredient in a salad.
Playing with the ingredients we have at home is about not getting stuck in the famous phrase, "If only I had..." or "If only..." It's about taking what we have on hand and creating healthy and nutritious combinations.
A tropical rain is a way of honoring the fruit we're using, the mango, because it's a staple for Venezuelans. We have a national history of this, in every remote village and city of our beautiful country. Thank you for being here.

Los ingredientes a utilizar para completar la carga nutritiva en esta preparación:
1/4 de repollo blanco
1 zanahoria mediana
1 mango maduro
1/4 de cebolla morada
Para el aderezo:
El jugo de 2 limones
1/2 cucharadita de sal
The ingredients to use to complete the nutritional load in this preparation:
1/4 of a white cabbage
1 medium carrot
1 ripe mango
1/4 of a red onion
For the dressing:
The juice of 2 lemons
1/2 teaspoon of salt

After cutting the cabbage, soak it in water with vinegar to wash it (you can use lemon juice). Let it sit for a few minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

Next, wash the carrot and then grate it using the coarse side of a grater.

Once the carrot is ready, peel the mango, cut each slice of mango into small squares, or according to the preference of the person making it.

Once everything is cut, wash the cabbage and combine it with the red onion, carrot, and mango.

For the dressing, squeeze the juice from two lemons and mix it with salt. Then, add this dressing to the vegetables and fruit to enhance the flavor.
