Greetings Community

Have a wonderful week filled with health, energy, amazing ideas, and lots of enthusiasm in every activity you undertake.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE SPORT
OR EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY IN SCHOOL?

I'm going back to the past again, and it's great to revisit those memories. I think my generation, and every generation, has its favorite moments, and depending on the times we lived through, some are better than others. I don't argue about that anymore because every era and every generation has its own, according to the evolution of society, the advances in many aspects of the time, and the characteristics of fashion, which always makes its own things its best moments. It was a very beautiful time: belonging to a team, the applause, being a bit of a volleyball girl. Despite training a lot, I never neglected my grades. The coaches were very dedicated to developing young athletes and were respectful. I can say it was a very beautiful experience.

My favorite sport has always been volleyball, ever since 4th grade at the elementary school where I went. Then, when I moved on to high school, I joined the volleyball team. My height was well-suited to the sport, especially as a spiker. We trained a lot. Although there came a time when I stopped playing. My interests changed a bit, and I focused solely on my studies because I changed schools, and it was a different environment.

I remember the years I dedicated most to sports were the three-year middle school cycle (grades 7-9). My brothers and sisters also played volleyball and participated in basketball events. I didn't. During those three years of high school, I participated in inter-school, regional, and national games.

It was a really fun time. They always expected more from me, especially the coach. There came a point when that led me to quit when I changed schools. I dedicated myself to studying more and reading—a lot of reading. I stopped participating in sports events; I didn't feel drawn to them or to be part of any teams. Then things changed in my life as a high school graduate, and I focused on working and continuing my studies. I got lost in that world. These days I do walks and yoga, but not team sports.

I'm glad you enjoyed playing volleyball when you were in school. Unlike you, I didn't really like volleyball—I could hardly ever hit the ball. But I did really like swimming. I'll write about that.

That's great, it was also the most reliable sports we had: volleyball, basketball, and baseball. At my house, it was volleyball and basketball.
