Greetings, Community!

My favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon.

I love the rain, although in other years of my life I respected it a lot, without bothering it or saying anything because those were times when you had to go to work, and no matter what, you had to get there. Tell me about when it started raining right at 6:00 in the morning, and when the children were little and I didn't have a car yet, it was quite a sight. Sometimes I decided to stay home even though I'd get a warning.

Well, those years have passed, and I handled the rainy season in the best way possible, because when it was going to rain in El Tigre, Anzoátegui State, Venezuela, it really did rain—a downpour, sometimes for three hours straight, when nobody dared to go out.

These days, from a few years ago onward, I enjoy it in a different way. I've always loved the rain, even when it pours. My living room has large windows, and I love to open the curtains and sit and watch the rain through the window, how it dances in the breeze and how the plants rejoice at the arrival of the drops. I imagine the leaves are being bathed. I also think of those whose homes aren't as strong and offer a prayer for their protection.

I also reflect on the wonders of nature, its bounty. I enjoy this scene with my cup of coffee. If it rains at night, I love to snuggle up and listen to the sound of the raindrops hitting the bedroom window. The best part is waking up to the smell of rain, the clean air—the feeling in the air is priceless. The branches of the plants look different in the morning, cleaner and more beautiful.

A rainy afternoon is fantastic, and if it catches me in the street for some reason, I take shelter and still enjoy the rainy scenery until I can continue on my way and get home.

Hello, my friend.
How lovely to hear from you. I imagined the rain pouring down, as it usually does here, through that big window.
And what better company than a good guayoyo. 🌷🌧️
