Are you a fashion enthusiast?
Do you follow trends or simply wear what you like and what makes you feel comfortable?

Talking about fashion is a topic I've always enjoyed. Not because I'm a fan of it, but quite the opposite.

I don't think I ever was, and now I think even less so. However, when I liked something I saw in store windows or something someone was wearing that looked comfortable and elegant if I paid attention, I would look for pieces that I could wear all the time, as long as they were in my closet—not the kind of clothes that are only for December, but that each time I wear them, they feel meaningful on my body.

We've gone through many styles. I've always said they're cyclical, that every decade or so, a style from the past returns, but with different characteristics, or with different fabrics.

These days, it's not that I don't enjoy buying some more fashionable pieces; it's just that the financial landscape for every Venezuelan has changed a lot, and mine is no exception. To keep up with the latest shoes, pants, and other clothing, you have to do a serious financial analysis to decide whether or not you can afford that pair of shoes you need.

I'm at the age where I prefer sneakers, loafers, flat shoes, or shoes with a very small heel. As for clothes, I like straight-leg pants; they're very comfortable. Although fashion isn't something I'm particularly keen on showing off in my social circles, everyone dresses in whatever they feel best or however they feel at a small gathering.

Hablar de la moda, es un tema que siempre me ha gustado. No, porque soy fans de ella sino al contrario.

Creo que nunca lo fui, y ahora creo que menos. Eso sí, cuando me gustaba algo que veía en las vidrieras de las tiendas o algo que llevaba alguien, que se veía cómodo, elegante si prestaba atención. Me ubicaba en piezas que se pudieran usar siempre, mientras estuviera en mi closet, no ese tipo de ropa que es solo para el mes de diciembre, sino que cada vez que se use tenga un sentido en mi cuerpo.

Hemos pasado por muchos estilos, siempre he dicho que son ciclos, que en cada década o menos vuelve el estilo de hace tiempo pero con otras características, o diferentes las telas con las que son confeccionadas.

En estos tiempos no es que no me agrade comprar algunas piezas más actuales, lo que ocurre es que el mundo financiero de cada venezolano ha cambiado mucho, igualmente el mío. Para actualizarse con zapatos, pantalones y otros tipos de vestimenta hay que hacer un estudio financiero personal grande para poder adquirir o no ese par de zapatos que se requiere.

Estoy en la edad de los zapatos deportivos, mocasines, zapatos sin tacón o algo de tacón, de tacón pero muy pequeño, en cuando a ropas me agradan los pantalones rectos, holgados son muy cómodos. Aunque es las esferas en las que me muevo la moda no es tema importante para presumir, cada quien viste lo mejor de sí o como se sienta en el momento de una pequeña reunión.

Hola hermosa. Un gusto leerte. También soy más de buscar algo cómodo y que sea atemporal. Tengo accesorios como collares y cinturones de macramé que me regalaron en mi adolescencia y todavía los utilizo.
