It's true that Valentine's Day is the day of love, but also of friendship!… And so I ask you: Who should you love first? Who is your best friend?
The concept of love is a word that has evolved over time and taken on meanings that perhaps weren't considered valid in the past. Love is any feeling we want to express through actions or our presence, starting with ourselves, something that was once viewed in different ways or as a selfish act.
Many studies and experiences have been uncovered regarding the topic of love. Each person, according to their open-mindedness, understands, comprehends, and chooses to love above all else. Showing love is significant. When we prepare a meal, the love we put into it is very meaningful, as is the case with the different activities we do throughout the day, the various tasks we perform each day.
After understanding the profound meaning of love, I must love myself first, put myself first (something we tend to forget when we're raising young children), but the day comes when I say, "I love myself above all else." This love leads us to look at ourselves more in the mirror, to be more mindful of the food we eat, to choose the kind of music we want to listen to, and the people we want to share our lives with. It's not being selfish; it's a way of feeling happy and at peace with ourselves. To that extent, we show the world a greater willingness to support those around us, to make small moments into something big because we feel good, and when we're happy, we share that happiness.

Just as I must love myself first, I am my own best friend. I look within myself for answers without judgment or judgmental stares. I simply observe my surroundings, searching within myself for answers to continue loving myself, to share quality moments with others without judgment, criticism, negativity, or anything of the sort.

Saludos Comunidad
Es verdad que San Valentín es el día del amor, pero ¡también de la amistad!… Y entonces te pregunto yo a ti: ¿A quién debes amar primero? ¿Quién es tu mejor amiga?
El tema del amor es una palabra que con el paso del tiempo ha variado y ha tomado terrenos que quizás en otros tiempos no se tomaban como válidos. Amor, es todo aquel sentimiento que queremos expresar con actos o presencia iniciando con una misma, cosa que antes era visto de diferentes maneras o como un acto egoísta.
Muchos estudios y experiencias se han ido destapando en torno al tema del Amor, cada quien y de acuerdo a su apertura de mente entiende, comprende y elige amar sobre todas las cosas. Demostrar Amor es grande, cuando hacemos una comida el amor que le colocamos es de gran significado, así en diferentes actividades que realizamos durante el día en las diferentes tareas que desarrollamos día a día.
Después de comprender el significado tan grande del amor debo amarme a mi primero, ponerme en primer lugar (algo que cuando estamos de mamá de niños pequeños nos olvidamos un poco de ello), pero llega el día de decir me amo primero sobre todas las cosas. Ese amor nos lleva a mirarnos más en el espejo, a estar más atenta a los alimentos que tomamos, a elegir el tipo de música que queremos escuchar, las personas con quienes queremos compartir. No es ser egoísta, es una forma de sentirse feliz y bien con una misma, en esa medida nos mostramos al mundo más dispuestas a acompañar a las personas que nos rodean, a hacer pequeños momentos en grandes porque nos sentimos bien y al estar felices compartimos felicidad.
Así como debo amarme primero, yo soy mi mejor amiga. Busco en mi respuestas sin juicios ni miradas torturadoras, solo observo a mí alrededor, voy dentro de mí buscando respuestas para seguir amándome, para compartir con otros momentos de calidad sin juicios, críticas, negatividades entre otras.
