What is the predominant colour in your wardrobe? Was it a conscious choice or has it just happened over time? Don't hesitate to show us a little!

When I read this question, my mind goes back to the ages and stages we go through in life, experiencing things according to the stories that come our way. That's where everything comes from, and it's good to see how our tastes change when it comes to different things, spaces, music, food.

In answer to the question about the predominant colour in my wardrobe, it has changed a lot, I think a great deal, as has the style. Let me explain: in the famous 1980s, a generation that has grown older has many memories of this era, which was very magical for those of us who lived through it. It was so magical that it encompassed not only the style of music, hairstyles, and lifestyles, but also the colours that generally came to the fore, what we call 1980s fashion. In addition to these changes, it was a time of externalisation of knowledge, ideas, and many things related to learning. Many people who loved literature, art, and science gave their best during those times.

Let's talk about colours. At that time, colours were vibrant. Fuchsia and electric blue, as it was called or recognised, were part of my wardrobe. These colours were combined with lipsticks of the same type. Take orange, for example... It was a very colourful era. It was a time of great freedom in many ways.

There was another time when my clothes were darker, perhaps because of my work activities. Black and grey were easier to combine with any colour.

Now, I tend to wear pinks and whites; I don't have a defined colour like I did in the 1980s. My style of dress has also changed; now I wear trainers and sportswear for the activities I currently do. Of course, for festive activities, there are other types of clothes that can be combined.

Would you consider remarrying or having another partner if you were a 71-year-old widow or widower? Why or why not?

This is a question to which my answer changed a long time ago. As I came to understand that our words create our reality, I always said that if I ever got divorced or became a widow, I would never get together with another partner again. I later harmonised this thought with my belief system, and now I think that if God gives me the opportunity to experience romance again, if the person meets certain requirements or is a kind, conscious person with a zest for life, who lives each day with enthusiasm, I feel it is a good decision. The children are in their own lives and we are usually alone in the case of men. Furthermore, if they are a healthy person in many ways, it is worth the effort to say yes to that companionship; it is a matter of living it and seeing how it actually works out.

¿Cuál es el color predominante en tu armario? ¿Fue una elección consciente o simplemente ha ido sucediendo con el tiempo? ¡No dudes en enseñarnos un poco!

Al leer esta interrogante mi mente vuelve a comentar acerca de las edades y etapas que vivimos, vamos experimentando de acuerdo a las historias que se nos presentan, de allí sale todo y es bueno mirar cómo vamos cambiando gustos en cuando a diferentes cosas, espacios, música, comidas.

En respuesta a la pregunta del color predominante en el armario en el mío ha variado mucho, creo que muchísimo, igual el estilo. Explico, en los famosos años 80 donde una generación que ha crecido en edad guarda muchos recuerdos de esta época que fue muy mágica para quienes la vivimos, fue tan mágica que abarcó no solo el estilo de la música, peinados, estilos de vida sino también los colores que por lo general salían a la luz pública, lo que llamamos la moda de los 80, además de estos cambios en esa época fue una época de exteriorización del conocimiento, ideas, muchas cosas que tenían que ver con el aprendizaje, muchas personas amantes de la literatura , el arte, la ciencia dieron lo mejor de sí en esos tiempos.

Voy con los colores, en esos tiempos los colores eran florecientes, el fucsia, el azul eléctrico como se le decía o se le reconocía eran parte de mis prendas de vestir, estos colores combinados con labiales de este tipo, dígame el color naranja…fue una época muy colorida. De muchas libertades en diferentes sentidos.

Hubo otro tiempo que mis prendas eran más oscuras, quizás por mis actividades laborales, negro, gris era más fáciles de combinar con cualquier color.

Ahora, tiendo a tener rosados, blancos, no tengo un color definido como en los años 80. También el estilo de vestir ha variado, ahora es zapatos deportivos, ropa de deporte por las actividades que realizo actualmente. Por supuesto, si es para actividades festivas hay otro tipo de ropas combinables.


¿Considerarías volver a casarte o tener otra pareja si fueras viudo/viuda de 71 años? ¿Por qué sí o por qué no?

Esta es una pregunta que mi respuesta varió hace mucho tiempo, en la medida que entendí que nuestras palabras crean nuestra realidad, siempre decía que si ocurría un divorcio o ser viuda jamás me volvería a reunir en pareja. Pensamiento que luego armonicé con mi sistema de creencias, ahora pienso si Dios me da la oportunidad de volver a vivir un idilio, si la persona cumple ciertos requisitos o es una persona amable, consciente, con alegría de vivir, de vivir el día a día con ilusión, siento que es una buena decisión, los hijos están en sus vidas y por lo general quedamos solas o solos en el caso de los hombres. Además, de todo esto sí es una persona sana en muchos aspectos, vale el esfuerzo de decir sí a esa compañía; es cuestión de vivirlo a ver como se actúa en realidad.

I quite agree that as one grows, their choice of colors and outfits change too. During the 80's, when you were young and vibrant, you went with the color flow. But at this age, your preference has changed.

And for remarrying at 71, you made good points too. The grace to marry, at any age is from God, and if one is lucky to have another opportunity at finding love and companionship at that age they should let it go by, especially if the person meets their requirements.

Realmente en los 80 nos dejamos regir por la moda, recuerdo los peinados estilo Gloria Trevil, por esos peinados mi cabello liso desapareció, ahora no es ni liso, ni ondulado😅😂

Uno va variando de gusto con el pasar de los años, que bueno que te gustes esos colores. Y que bueno que pienses en volver a formar pareja, si es que aparece el indicado. Bendiciones.
