It's a day for a walk, a walk Arminda has dreamed of. Those distant dreams that, when they come true, you tend to say, “I can't believe it,” even though you're in the perfect moment to experience it.
Since she was a child, Arminda dreamed of visiting other lands. She looked at books, photos, everything related to distant places, far, far away from her town, where there are only two streets and everyone is family because they have lived there for so long.

She grew up and her album grew thicker every day with clippings from magazines and newspapers. She took everything she found, even if she didn't know the name of the place, just because of its color and beauty.
She went to school in her small town and always excelled in geography, despite her weaknesses in books. She did everything she could to find information, and it was always her favorite subject.
Of course, Arminda was seen as a silly, dreamy child and then teenager, but despite this, she told her mother that when she left school she was going to another, slightly larger town to continue her studies. Her mother was terrified by the idea. With determination, despite her mother's fears, Arminda continued her studies. She worked and studied, her goal being to visit beautiful places far from her own geography, to cross borders. She devoted herself to learning a language despite the limitations of her situation. She managed to access small courses and made progress. She never lost faith, never gave up on her dreams. On the contrary, each setback made her even more determined.

As high school graduation approached, a program was presented for the best students to be part of a fleet of aviation companies, as flight attendants and other types of jobs. When Arminda was evaluated, she was the first to be chosen because she could understand another language. She considered it because she already knew that she could improve. She enthusiastically accepted the challenge. She wanted to go to college, and when this opportunity presented itself, she didn't let it pass her by, even though deep down she knew how hard it would be for her for many reasons.
In her mind, she never stopped dreaming about her album of beautiful places, always in her suitcase. She began her course, and when she was ready, she started her travels, trips to places she couldn't believe. Every time she was assigned flights, she couldn't stop smiling, while others complained. She felt she was where she always wanted to be and couldn't waste her day off in this city. She was ready to get on a gondola and ride through Venice, one of the places she had been looking forward to the most.
