August 3, 2026, Prompt Day 3184: Total Failure
Science has shown that words somehow leave a mark on the minds and cells of every human being. Before, for me, the word "failure" was so immense in meaning that I felt that if I failed any subject in high school, it was a total failure. Or if, for any reason, I stopped pursuing my studies at the university level, it was also considered a total failure.
The criticisms and judgments were so unfounded that simply being seen as a failure, even if I didn't want to be, meant I had to keep going, even if I didn't like it or didn't feel I understood what I had chosen at that moment.
Today, the word "failure" is so misused that those who are not in control of their own worth continue to wreak havoc on others regarding their value in this world. We allow ourselves to be mistreated with these kinds of words, which are decisive when it comes to valuing ourselves.
