That's why this day, the 13th, with its theme of the gold ring, resonates with me. My story is that my gold ring was stolen from my home by undesirable hands. After all the effort my husband and I put into acquiring it, this happened years later. I was left without a gold ring, while others long to have one on their hands, on their special finger. A gold ring, truly the desire of many, seems to be overlooked these days, its delicate and deeply meaningful symbolism often goes unnoticed.
