Testing video on Ecency App -Odin the cat
This is just a quick post to test video loading for Ecency app devs. If you can see my very amateur video it means everything is working perfectly well on the testing version of the app! @ecency
Odin loves his window shelf where he can lay in the morning sun and keep a close eye on the dogs when they go out into the yard and watch any squirrels or chipmunks in the garden.
Odin is a rescue cat. Someone dumped him off here at my house and he had a rough time surviving here in the woods. He ended up loosing an eye. After months of trying to get close to him, my daughter finally lured him into a cat carrier at Thanksgiving with bits of turkey meat and now he happily lives at her house with with two dogs.
Oh and don't poke at the cat when he is feeling wild and playful! 😁

Ah I do see it. I was looking under the Waves editor and only saw the image button. Will that load videos?
No videos in Waves yet.
Didn't figure so. That would be a great way to do shorts... Just saying...

Look for the video camera icon when you are in editor creating a post!
I haven't uploaded a video in a while and I haven't tried it since Ecency.
Odin has motivated me to come up with one to upload in the next few days. We will see how it goes.

I have never uploaded a video, is this a new feature or just adjustments to an existing one?
I'm testing adjustments. Video on app was released a few weeks ago, but has been available on Ecency.com since last fall.

A week ago I tried to record a few seconds live at a concert, and, it didn't work... only picture...

There was a node problem, then a fix, then a new problem, and then some new nodes added to the front of the node_list. It seems to be working again.

That’s so sad
The eye has not slowed him down. He very much rules the house.
Now the video upload option is working well and the video is uploading quickly. This cat is very cute and it's good that you rescued her.
