The daily writing prompt of freewriters

When they were racing, James and Courtney were absolute rivals. Of the field, they were really good friends. Courtney told him to promise her that he will always be sincere to their race and will never let her win on purpose. This is why James always tried to give his sincere best; he was always an authentic person and never tried to do any favour on her, and their race was always intense. Everyone enjoyed their race. They both were speed enthusiastic people, and this is how their friendship grew stronger.
