Meet “Gato” the New Member of the Family

A month ago, a new member joined our family. I must say that at first I was a little skeptical that he would survive, since I brought him home when he was only 15 days old because his mother had died and he was orphaned. Seeing his situation, I decided to take him home with me. The first few days were quite difficult. I had never had a pet that depended completely on me, and I also had to feed it every four hours because, due to its size, it could not yet feed itself.
At first, I thought he wouldn't survive because he was separated from his mother so prematurely, but I was wrong. After a while and with perseverance, he was able to start feeding himself, and this has allowed him to become my faithful companion. Even when I am stressed or discouraged, he is there to keep me company, and above all, he likes to sleep on top of me.

The funny thing is that I never liked cats, but now with him it's different. He has become my companion, and as for his name, what can I say? I'm terrible at names, so I decided to call him “cat.” That's been his name since he came home, and I would even say that he's gotten used to it.

I would say that we take care of each other. At first, I thought I wouldn't get used to him, but I was wrong.
