Flabellophora obovata

Latin NameObservation dateLocation
Flabellophora obovataDecember 31 2025Central Aceh Regency,Aceh, Indonesia

When I was behind the house, precisely when I was watering my chili plants, I managed to find a wooden block under the hut. This wooden block was damaged and rotten because it had been under the hut for a long time. Out of curiosity, I immediately moved the wooden block, hoping that this wooden block could still be used.If you look at it physically, this wooden block can be used again because it is damaged and has holes, but on top of this wooden block a very unique mushroom is growing.

I don't know the name of this mushroom myself. It's neither too big nor too small, has a fairly firm yet brittle texture, and a beautiful yellowish-brown and white color. This mushroom has a very pungent odor, which is proof that it is highly poisonous and should not be consumed. It's not wrong to just admire its beauty. This mushroom looks truly captivating when viewed up close, its color and texture clearly visible.

Okay everyone, now I'll share some pictures of this unique mushroom here.
