Why Did I Not Play Tournaments More?

The first tournament that I partake in 2026 resulted in better than I had expected. I could not pass round 1 but ended up winning more SPS than I was hoping for.

I am getting 10.5 SPS for this bronze Wild tournament. For 25 DEC to partake in this tournament it is about 2.5 DEC per SPS. Of course there is the required minimum collection power and staked SPS but I had it for awhile.

Upcoming next tournament that I am playing in I have currently holding rank 30 and if I can hold in top 32 I would end up with 53.2 SPS. Even in top 64 with 26.6 SPS it is a good win for me. For 100 DEC entry fee it is a good ROI.
Looking ahead I will be partaking on more tournaments as much as I can so I can win as much SPS as possible. This plays very well into my goal of staking 250k SPS. This is much better than swapping DEC to SPS or Hive to SPS as I don't have to pay any fees for the exchange.

I need to note that my next tournament has more than 128 participants so there will be some players who will earn nothing. I am hoping with enough cards I can have just even one win to get in the top 128. There can still be more players signing up making this even more difficult to earn SPS but I am hopeful. I am already ahead with the two current tournaments so what happens in this third one will not sting as much.
Until next time thanks for reading!!!

I have plenty of other cards for rent! Just go on peakmonsters and check out the market place and if you are curious what I offer here is a link:
If You have yet to take part in playing this great game called Splinterlands please click on my referral link. It is free but in order to earn real assets such as cards and token you would have to invest in a starter deck or purchase game cards. Join the discord to learn more. Good luck!

THANKS FOR READING! CONTINUE TO PLAY SPLINTERLANDS!

That is an interesting strategy, but it's working. I guess if you want more SPS and want to avoid the fees, the tournaments don't seem like a bad choice
Another point worth noting is SPS price been rising relative to DEC and even Hive. The ROI grows as SPS price rises. If SPS was half the value of where it is now it would not be as good.
