SPS To Not SPS

I have seen this story before and it does not seem to end. SPS is hitting near all time lows in terms of USD and I am losing hope that it can even stay at current value. This is one of the main reasons I am pivoting to staking more HP but even that has its own price decay. The benefit I see with staking HP is there are less total supply of Hive than SPS and Hive allows me a diversification out of Splinterlands.

DEC is fairing no much better than SPS. It is all Splinterlands tokens value decaying leading to assets such as cards and land prices to also struggle.

Token price drops may have been due to Hive-Engine pool hacks and recent new proposal to provide a SPS:DEC pool in game will hopefully curb supply which in turn maybe, just maybe, keep prices stable.

Side news I have not tested the new player avatar gameplay but heard it can be use in either modern or wild battles. This leads to bigger opportunities of having customized cards to be used in battles. It will increase overall card quantities but gives much more customization.
