Sharing Is Caring

In the latest update Splinterlands now allows players to share cards among guild members to allow for better competition. Official news post here:

https://docs.splinterlands.com/platform/release-notes/2026

At first glance the link to borrow and deposit cards seem straight forward, but there is an initial limitation where the guild needs to level up in order to open up slots to share cards.

My guild currently is limited in players having legacy cards so in all likely this feature won't result into major changes for us. However there could be guilds where whale players holding multiple Arcana or Rebellion cards could share among its guild members.

I think such a feature is good to see as it gives the opportunity for high net worth players to share the potential rewards with smaller players. It can also reignite guilds that did not have enough active players as more cards can be easily shared.

In addition it adds to potentially one more feature the cards have for utility whereby increase their overall value. Players could rent out more cards when they have enough liquidity but not enough cards from team members and rent cards for them.

We have yet to see how this plays out but upcoming brawl will be the first time we see how effective/helpful this new feature will be.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

I think it's a fairly good feature. It will help out the guild to do better in Brawls, and I feel that it is a very nice feature. At least those extra cards will be useful
