Thankful Reflections on My Splinterlands Journey

Its almost Thanksgivings and recently I find myself reflecting on my journey on Hive and Splinterlands. It’s been a long road filled with ups and downs, but today I’m grateful for where I stand. Recently, I gave too much negativity towards Splinterlands that today I would like to flip the script and talk about the good things I have with the game.

When I first started, I never imagined how far this game and community would take me. Through countless battles, tournaments, and daily rewards, I’ve built up a collection that has not only given me joy but also tangible value. The rewards I’ve earned over time have allowed me to stake over 140,000 SPS, strengthening my place in the Splinterlands ecosystem. On Hive, my activity and growth have brought me to over 35,000 Hive Power, giving me a voice and presence in one of the most vibrant blockchain communities out there.

Of course, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Asset prices have seen their highs and lows, and right now many are in free fall. But even in these challenging times, I’m still earning. The consistency of rewards, the resilience of the community, and the opportunities to grow remind me that this journey is about more than just numbers — it’s about persistence, learning, and connection.

This holiday season, I’m thankful for:

  • The Hive community, where I’ve found support, inspiration, and friendship.
  • The ability to keep earning and building, even when markets are uncertain.
  • The Splinterlands battles that sharpened my strategy and kept me engaged.

As I look ahead, I know there will be more challenges and more victories. But today, I pause to appreciate how far I’ve come. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey — fellow players, guildmates, curators, and developers.

I am living proof that there can be success with playing the game starting with zero. It may not be as easy today to start from nothing to get to where I am but its not impossible and currently the Frontier league do offer a lot in cards that one can actively play and enjoy. If one stays dedicated and patient with the game I think they will find success too.

Here’s to resilience, gratitude, and the continued growth of Splinterlands and Hive. Happy holidays!

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

It's been a long journey for me as well. Splinterlands was where I got started on Hive, and I think that it has been great. I was also able to grow my stake in tokens like SPS just like you, and it was amazing to see the value of things during the lockdowns.
