Reviewing My Splinterlands Collection

avatar

Long gone are the good old days where I Chaos set was prime cards in Splinterlands and here I am close to a max level set. Out of any set this is the set where I come close to a max set when including rewards. I have mainly held on to a lot of different cards before and after with some sells here and there. My sales have under whelm since I under price the lowest current market prices. In reality I have sold it for a lost but I am hoping to gain it back through reinvesting in land production.

Overall based on peakmonsters stats the majority of my cards I have out for rent is being rented. I am yielding close to 700 DEC per a day and since its season rents I have been able to collect the DEC upfront and put it to work in land production.

I am currently operating only two of my plots but able to pull close to ~200 DEC daily. I sell majority of my resources for DEC to continue growing my DEC stake. 200 DEC in current value is approximately 1.2 Hive.

Goal is to continue reducing DEC staked needed in land production while increasing output. I hope to build a setup where I can convert enough DEC to grow my land income. I have a lot of cards I can stash away in land since they are legacy cards and comes with lower DEC energy need to produce.

Back to my card collection I have all my cards that was put up for sale gone except for gold foils. It seems they are a bit harder to sell due to price premiums.

It is a double edge sword where at one point it is difficult to earn gold foil cards but their demand is just not high which drag their prices.

For my card collection my plan is to continue merging my legacy cards so to build up a set for use in more of my land plots. As of now I am hoping to get to a DEC surplus of ~10k DEC, estimating approximately two weeks, to bring on another plot for production.

Its kind of interesting that ever since I set my eyes on trying to stake 250k SPS I have in turn been trying to stake more DEC. There is a fair reason I am doing this. The DEC to Hive ratio is basically the reason.

It is tempting to stash more DEC as prices continue to move up. I am amazed how it is getting stronger against Hive but it is still small relative in value to what Hive is. So for now I think it remains lucrative to have DEC in lieu of SPS.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

DEC is looking amazing. I miss the days when the legacy cards were worth a ton. It just seems like the Wild pass pulled out so much away from the use for those cards.
