Real Play To Earn With Frontier?

I remain focus on trying to get through Frontier and earn daily rewards but have been only been able to get 1 reward card per a day. Some days I simply force myself to sit through close to 20 matches just to get to the second daily chest.

The single cards per a day may not be much be hoping in the long run it will add up. The fact that players only need to play the campaign to start with a set of Foundation cards is all that is needed to play Frontier it is basically a play to earn league.

I have a lot to do in order to catch up with others if I want to perform in Foundation. As it currently stands I am way behind in terms of rank within even just the bronze league.

Why the sudden interest in trying to play and earn more in Foundation you may ask?

Certain players are pulling Foundation packs and are able to sell them on the open market. This is another form of income one can earn through just playing.

To add to that Foundation cards are now available on even third party open market sites. Over on monstermarket.io I am seem many cards selling pennies on the dollar. It may not be much in currency but the fact that players are able to buy and sell Foundation brings the opportunities of play to earn within reach for anyone.

I remember back in the day when Splinterlands was really focus on play to earn and where spellbooks was bare minimum to purchase to yield multiple packs and whole host of rewards. If Foundation with Frontier is going that same path it would be a great sign for not only existing players but new players to join in on the fun.

With a whole set of cards in its own category that entices new players to play further it could be a great way to onboard new players into the actual Modern and Wild leagues. With more eye balls there could be more demand for cards and in turn higher asset prices.

Another interesting element to consider is that the Foundation set requires less cards to max the monsters and summoners. This would mean players require less cards to reach a full set. The lower numbers make accumulating and completing a set shorter in time and effort.

I was able to pull a Giam Root legendary not that long ago and now knowing I only need two more to max level the card it does feel like I have very high chance of maxing the card when comparing to the regular cards in modern and wild.

In addition the Foundation cards can be used in other platforms to play such as modern league. It is pretty interesting to see how this all plays out now that the developers have given the flexibility to buy and sell and trade Foundation cards.

I do feel there can be opportunities to expand in the Frontier format. In regards to rewards distribution probably could give more reward chests across the board. As of now it is still a great opportunity to see how much I personally can earn and will look over this upcoming end of season with results to reflect on. For now I recommend other players to play a bit more in Frontier and see how much you can earn.
