Peakmonster Cards Pricing History
Over on Peakmonsters I stumbled on some neat features that are free to members to use and helpful in search for deals. Under "buy cards" and using compare by "market trend" players can see any card's price trend up to the past 30 days. This is helpful in gauging the price of a card.
It is not all bad news with card prices. Some cards even in Rebellion have risen on average 30 days close to 250%.
The peakmonster's filters I think is one of the most intuitive to use to find specific cards. Focusing in on one of the current sets playable on modern and somewhat affordable is the Rebellion set. Some cards have been trending steeply to the down side in the past month and through Peakmonsters we can see this.
Another cool comparison is "price gap". When that is selected player can see most recent cards posted that have a wide delta price from the best price to the second best price. In these instances it maybe wise to look at the card on open market to see if there is potential in buying since price could be in significant discount.
Then there is the compare by "price at level". I like seeing max level cards and the best prices which peakmonsters can filter out at present time of executing the command. In this instance the results will show the current max level cost of a card and how much different it is from average.
Another search within peakmonsters is the best bid to current open market price of cards. I would guess that cards that are low in % are due in part because players who are trying to sell their cards do not realize that the bid price is there and available to view even for free.
For example under the BID button is a price with a crown. This means the current highest bid in peakmonsters for that specific card.
When I expand the search for all cards there are close to a dozen that is less than 2% between open market price and the highest bid. This is essentially the cost of fees in a transaction as if it were to be executed. Wonder if more players realize the data and sellers adjust their prices down or buyers raise their bid up just a bit to capture the card they are bidding for.
Concluding peakmonsters have plenty of nice features even for free. I can not emphaize this enough. I use the platform almost daily as it gives me the detail info for my accounts and pricing on cards that I am potentially looking to buy.

I think it's a nice feature so I might get it when I want to sell/buy alot of cards. I don't see myself using it right now though.
Free to use and try out so when you have the time worth checking out.
