Bots Here To Stay In Splinterlands?

I know for years Splinterlands have been trying to find ways to deal with bots play but seeing how Survival has allowed bots in a specific format it is becoming more clear that bots are here to stay for good. With AI now running rampant I am pondering if it is even any fun for humans to play if bots perform far better and reward users just by its use.

There are no restrictions on bots use in modern and wild. This is the main reason why I have not played in these battles as I am no match with bots. Then there is the question of Frontier. Developers have mentioned brawls and Frontier would not allow bots but one has to ponder even if this statement is true there can still be potential bots that slip through. With how AI is improving who knows if bots can get through to the battles with non bots.

I personally believe that sometimes my bouts end up playing with bots as I can see my opponent's formation setups that simply was aware of my formation before hand. It is either luck or they knew my formation and had enough time to react. It has happened on multiple occasions so I have the side of caution that I am facing bots even when they are restricted.

Going back to Survival it is interesting that bots have their own format. I will likely be avoiding the format as I have from multiple experiences faced difficult challenges with bots. Think this would be the same and hence I will stick with Active format. What have you guys been seeing lately? Do you feel you play against bots more than what is expected?

Thanks for reading this post!

Isn't modern suppose to be bot free? I thought it was, but I am not sure. I think there are bots in Frontier, but that is just how I feel about it. I don't have anything to back that up.
