Day of 2026-04-18: stepping back when needed

I had to take a break from blogging yesterday what I observed on Friday in the digital space. From a process standpoint, stepping away is sometimes the more disciplined action. Not every input requires immediate interpretation or response. Creating distance can help prevent reactive decisions, especially when information flow feels distorted or unclear. The absence of activity here is intentional. It’s part of maintaining control over how and when I engage.

Routine and Structure: BBH Drip Day

It’s Saturday, which means BBH drip day. This sits firmly in the long-term bucket. Regular accumulation, regardless of short-term noise, reinforces consistency. There’s no attempt to optimize timing here; the process is predefined. Thanks to one of Canada's finest @bradleyarrow.

Moments like this anchor the portfolio. While other areas may fluctuate or pause, these routines go one without any adjustment.

Interpreting External Strategy Signals

Leostrategy continues to mislead, in my view, and in the eyes of the many here. The disconnect between what is presented and what is executed raises concerns for months now. The chairman should start clear the director of financials and tech desks and let them go. But whom upon us would fire'emselves?

From a trading and investment perspective, this kind of uncertainty doesn’t translate directly into action, but it does affect confidence. Either scam or amateur 'our.

Portfolio Movement (16 Apr → 18 Apr)

Changes over this period, expressed in percentage terms:

  • $ACE: ➖ 0% (no change)

  • $BBH: 📈 approximately +0.11%

  • $BBHO: 📉 approximately -2.09%

  • $BTC: 📉 increase in short exposure (~2.03% increase in magnitude)

  • $DAB: 📈 aproximately +1.88%

  • $LTC: 📉 approximately -2.40% (increase in short exposure)

  • $MATIC: 📉 approximately -3.10%

  • $SURGE: 📈 reduction in short exposure (~1.46% decrease in magnitude)

  • $TGLD, $TNVDA, $TTSLA: ➖ 0% (no change)

The pattern remains consistent with prior sessions:

$DAB continues to build gradually, while $BBHO shows a notable reduction. Several positions remain unchanged, reinforcing the idea that action is selective, not constant. There’s no single dominant move.

Volume is concentrated in $LTC, followed by $HBD and $USDT. This aligns with where short-term positioning adjustments are visible. Very nice that Magi Team provides now $LTC and other tokens natively. No CEX anymore, I guess. 😅
