Day of 2025-05-22

This morning, I decided to change things up and traded my running shoes for the bike. I went out for a solid hour-long ride, and it was exactly what I needed.

The movement felt smoother on the body, and cycling gave me time to think while still getting in that early-day momentum. I might stick with the bike a bit more often now, especially on days when I’m not feeling up for the pounding of a run.

Work continues to be overwhelming lately, with a constant stream of meetings, and "decisions" to be made. It’s been incredibly draining, and I can feel my energy getting chipped away by all the interactions. Because of that, I’ve let a few things slide on the trading side—no deep analysis or big moves right now. But despite the low engagement, the volume has remained strong, which is a small but welcome win. It’s comforting to know that even when I’m off my game, the system is still holding up behind the scenes.

That sounds like a great change of pace.
Cycling can be such a refreshing way to get moving, and it’s definitely easier on the body compared to running.
Plus, it’s nice to have that time to think while still staying active.
Sticking with the bike more often sounds like a solid plan, especially for those lighter days.

Once I used to cycle almost daily. Now, all are in the past!! Indeed, it is a good form of workout. Good to hear that it brought some changes in your workout!

Absolutely agree—cycling is such a great way to clear your mind and stay active. A good ride can work wonders for stress, and yeah… I definitely need to bring my work stress down a notch. Time to let the wheels spin and the stress melt.😄 🚴‍♂️💨 !BBH !PIZZA
